The Way We Use Your Information

Commotion Ltd and Commotion (Europe) BV will strive to comply with applicable GDPR regulations as companies offering goods & services to the EU.

In May 2018 all customers who were registered on our website were sent an email explaining our commitment to GDPR compliance and requesting they follow steps to update their privacy settings and to indicate their requirements re: data being held against their name. Commotion Ltd then actioned those requests.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of all personal data, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our marketing communications process has been updated to comply with these regulations. All new customers who sign up to a Commotion UK or Export Customer Account, either via our Register / Contact pages or by contacting us directly, will only receive our marketing communications if they specifically request these.

The personal data of all Commotion customers is kept securely in accordance with GDPR guidelines. We never sell our data and only pass relevant contact details to third parties, such as delivery and courier operators, in order to fulfil customer order requirements. Customers’ data will only be used for business purposes so that we are able to continue to trade effectively with them.

Our Commitment to Children's Privacy and Protection

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to deliberately attract anyone under 13. However, all our products are used in schools all over the world and children may enjoy browsing our website. Adults can be absolutely assured that the site will never contain material which is inappropriate for children.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can contact us to request details of the information about you that we hold, and you have the right to correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information, or to have this removed.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
