Imaginative Play

Imaginative Play

As part of the Expressive Arts & Design specific area of learning in the EYFS, being engaged in imaginative play allows children to represent their own ideas, thoughts and feelings through a wide range of topics. They can start to make-believe by being involved in role play; express themselves through music or dance, or create their own stories and scenarios with small world play activities. The play resources here range from Soft Rubber Animal sets for small world play, to role play accessories and equipment such as the wooden kitchens and accessories, Magnetic Food Sets and fabrics.
